Comford Violin Shoulder Rest Cradle, plastic gold. In Metal Gold (+$31.-)

Finding a suitable shoulder rest can be a challenge, particularly for those players who find the standard Kun-Style rest uncomfortable. The 'Comford' shoulder cradle from Comfort L.L.C. is extremely stable and will not shift or pop out of place while you are playing. It is not adjustable in any way, which is a drawback, but it is solid and reliable, and for most players, very comfortable. The Tall version is particularly well suited for players with longer necks, who may otherwise find it difficult to fill the gap between shoulder and jaw, and may find themselves 'hunching' their left shoulders. Kun-style rests often become wobbly when the feet are extended and can fall over, but this is not a concern with the Comford Cradle. It does not move or wobble at all and the violin is held solidly in place.

We recommend this rest highly to players of all levels. Please note, however, that this is a fairly large rest and does not fit easily into some cases.

To install, place the two non-moving feet below the lower bouts (toward the tailpiece) and pull the other spring-loaded feet so that they will fit around the sides of the instrument.
