If for any reason you cancel an order for items that have not been shipped, after the order was placed and charged, We will have to charge you a 3% fee of the total amount of your order (this is our cost that we pay to the credit card companies for charging and refunding the money).

If you are not happy with your order? That is OK! We are making it easy for you to get a refund on your order (less our shipping cost & a handling fee of 10% of the order with a minimum of $3), for items eligible for return (over 95% of items are). There is no hidden fees or hidden restocking fees. Our generous return policy gives you, the customer, the ability to return any unopened, as new, in the same exact condition that you received the item, the eligible merchandise in resalable condition within 15 days of the original shipping date. All items we sell at Gostrings are covered by some manufacturer's warranty against defects. No strings can be returned after they have been strung up on the instrument.
First thing, you need to email us to tell us that you will return the merchandise. We will email you back to let you know that if the items are eligible for return.

Third, we will process and check the condition of the items we have received according to the above stated policy.
Fourth, we will process a refund on your credit card in the amount as stated in the above policy.

How does this work:
If a customer has ordered $100 or more with GoStrings in the last 12 months, a 5% off coupon can be applied to every new order placed after that, without a minimum required (coupon code: 5off2014). This offer cannot be combined with the free shipping coupon.
If a customer has ordered $600 or more in the last 12 months, a 10% off coupon can be applied to every new order of more than $150, placed after that, (coupon code: 10off2014). If a customer has ordered less than $600 in the last 12 months, they will be able to start using the 10% off coupon as soon as the total amount of orders placed reaches $600. This offer cannot be combined with the free shipping coupon.
